"The Trickster" is a high-voltage, deeply visceral exploration of the mythological archetype of the cosmic joker. Developed through my "Archaeological Fission" method, this striking, heavily textured portrait unearths a primal entity that thrives at the crossroads of order and chaos.

Inspiration & Philosophy
This work captures the spirit of the rebel—the shape-shifter who breaks boundaries and exposes hidden truths with a grin. The figure dominates the canvas with giant, hypnotic eyes and an exposed, vibrant red tongue, erupting from a background of electric blues and fiery yellows. The thick, aggressive impasto and raw black outlines create a powerful visual short-circuit. I wanted to paint the raw energy of wit and defiance; a character that looks directly back at the viewer, challenging them to stop taking reality so seriously.
